Good Afternoon,

The United States Department of Education conducts yearly testing (called NAEP) of 4th grade students as part of the Nation's Report Card. Schools are selected at random--and we were selected for this testing. Over the next week, you will be notified if your child is required to participate in testing (they select a random sample of students from 4th grade). You will receive a letter that outlines the purpose of the testing and how the data is used. In the meantime, here are some helpful resources for parents: (webpage for parents) (video for parents)

Again, not all students are selected--the NAEP testing representatives select the students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
