2023-24 HERMON SCHOOL COMMITTEE GOALS

1. Finance: Complete the 2025 budget process by 1 April 2024 and align with the town council’s 1st reading budget presentation; zero growth in local share funding in FY25 budget; reduce and stabilize the unassigned fund balance to comply with Title 20-A by 1 April 2025.

2. Technology: Implement an 18-month technology Modernization Plan by 1 MAR 2024 that focuses on the modernization of network systems and addresses all issues identified in the September 2023 DNS Audit Report.

3. Safety: The committee will support the Hermon School Department to provide all students with a safe school environment in which to learn.

4. Staffing: The committee will support the Hermon School Department to attract and retain highly qualified and certified professionals for all positions.
