Wooden Benches for Sale
The Hermon School Department is accepting sealed bids for the sale of ten 10 ft. wooden benches and four 8 ft. wooden benches with built in cushions to be sold as is. Bids may be made on the whole lot or individual benches.
Sealed bids will be received no later than 4:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at which time bids will be publicly opened at the Hermon Superintendent’s Office. The Hermon School Committee will award the bid on Monday, October 7, 2019 at their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The benches may be seen on the 3rd floor of the Hermon Superintendent’s Office, 31 Billings Road, during regular business hours. Speak to a central office staff member for more details.
Successful bidder must redeem their bid within twenty working days of the bid opening and remove the benches at their own expense.
Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside “Wooden Benches” and submitted to: Hermon School Department, Superintendent of Schools, 31 Billings Road, Hermon, Maine 04401 or dropped off at the Hermon Superintendent’s Office at 31 Billings Road during normal business hours.
No electronic submissions accepted. The Hermon School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid or to waive any bid formality when determined to be in the best interest of the School Department.
