Hermon High School has been placed on a Boil Water Order effective 9/14/2023.
Effective 09/14/2023, the Hermon High School is on a Boil Water Order, due to a routine sample taken on 09/13/2023, which detected bacteria. The Drinking Water Program will be in touch with me and retest samples will be taken. The Boil Water Order will be in effect until further notice. I will have the custodial staff post the BWO Notices in the building.
The cafeteria and school have been using bottled water since last winter due to elevated PFAS levels. Although the drinking fountains and fillings stations have been blocked off, the notice will be posted around the school and on our website.
